We have created a memorial rock garden at our Sanctuary to honor those horses who have crossed over. Included are former residents of our Sanctuary and former clients of our wellness and communication services.
In addition we have raised a flag in honor of all PMU horses and placed at the base of the tree a stone honoring all Thoroughbred racehorses who were lost on the track.
We invite former guardians and friends to send us a lock of mane/tail, a small photo or charm, or some other memento to place next to your horse’s stone. If you wish we can take one of the rocks on the property and apply a name or words to it and place it at the stone(s) of your choice. In this way you can pay tribute to one or more of the horses we honor here.

I will miss alfalfa, carrots, apples, the touch of loving hands, kisses on my nose and cool sprinkling water on my body. Farewell.”
